Jakub Safar¶
Jakub Šafář builds things in places that aren't ready for them yet.
Over the past four years in Telč — a UNESCO town of five thousand people in the Czech highlands — he has founded a skate club, initiated a skatepark now under construction, launched a drone and maker community, produced an art exhibition, and brought an internationally recognised social entrepreneur to a town most people outside the region have never heard of. He did most of it alone, without a budget, without a ready audience, and without stopping when neither showed up.
His work sits at the intersection of community infrastructure, creative documentation, and technical making. He is equally at home writing a press release, configuring a server, flying a drone, or running a workshop for five carefully chosen people. He is not a consultant who parachutes in. He is someone who stays.
He is looking for projects and people that deserve that kind of commitment.
This site covers six areas he works in.
